Website Cookies Policy

The present cookies policy (hereinafter the “Cookies Policy”) has been provided by SYNELIXIS S.A., having its registered office in Chalkida, Greece (hereinafter the “Controller” or “SYN”), to inform the users of the CyberNEMO project’s website (hereinafter, the “Website”) on how cookies on the Website are used.

Any term indicated in capital letters shall have the meaning attributed to it within the EU General Data Protection Regulation no. 2016/679 (hereinafter, “GDPR”) or otherwise provided hereto.

For any further information and/or clarifications, it is possible to contact the Data Controller at the following address: zahariad@synelixis.com.

To this extent, this document shall be considered as an integral part of the privacy policy on the processing of personal data, available at the following link: https://cybernemo.eu/index.php/privacy-policy/

1. Definition of Cookies

The web pages of the CyberNEMO Project use cookies. Cookies are text files that are stored in a computer system via an Internet browser. Many Internet sites and servers use cookies. Many cookies contain a so-called cookie ID. A cookie ID is a unique identifier of the cookie. It consists of a character string through which Internet pages and servers can be assigned to the specific Internet browser in which the cookie was stored. This allows visited Internet sites and servers to differentiate the individual browser of the Data Subject from other Internet browsers which contain other cookies. A specific Internet browser can be recognised and identified using the unique cookie ID.

Cookies can be “session” or “persistent” cookies. A session cookie is a cookie that is automatically deleted when the user closes the browser, whereas a persistent cookie is a cookie that remains stored in the user’s terminal device until it reaches a defined expiration date.

2. Cookies implemented on the Website

In particular, on the Website, the Controller has implemented the following cookies:

Category Purpose Provider Type
Functional cookies Verify browser cookie support and enable newsletter subscriptions. WordPress / Newsletter plugin Functional
Consent cookies Record the user’s cookie consent choice. Cookie consent plugin Necessary
Analytics cookies Collect anonymized usage statistics and session data to improve site performance. Google Analytics / WooCommerce Analytics

3. How to disable or remove the cookies

The User may, at any time, prevent the setting of cookies through the Website by means of a corresponding setting of the Internet browser used, and may thus permanently deny the setting of cookies.

Furthermore, already set cookies may be deleted at any time via an Internet browser or other software programs. This is possible in all of the most commonly used Internet browsers. If the Data Subject deactivates the setting of cookies in the Internet browser used, not all functions of our website may be entirely usable.

Please visit the following link if you need further clarification on how to disable cookies: https://www.aboutcookies.org.
